1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the Let's Hang website and service located at letshang.me (the “Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions (“Terms”). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the Service. These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Let's Hang (“we,” “our,” or “us”).

2. Description of Service

Let's Hang is a personal scheduling platform that allows users to create a shareable booking page where friends can view available hangout sessions and book time slots. The Service includes features such as Google Calendar integration, SMS and email notifications, group hangout management, and privacy controls.

3. Account Registration

To use certain features of the Service, you must sign in using your Google account. By signing in, you authorize us to access your Google profile information and, with your permission, your Google Calendar data. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.

4. User Conduct

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable laws or regulations
  • Impersonate any person or entity, or falsely represent your affiliation with any person or entity
  • Interfere with or disrupt the Service or servers or networks connected to the Service
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service, other accounts, or computer systems
  • Use automated means, including bots, scrapers, or spiders, to access the Service without our express written permission
  • Harass, abuse, or harm other users of the Service
  • Use the Service to send unsolicited communications or spam

5. SMS Messaging Terms

By providing your phone number and opting in to receive SMS messages from Let's Hang, you consent to receive recurring automated text messages related to your bookings, including but not limited to booking confirmations, cancellation notices, reminders, and group hangout updates.

  • Opt-In: You must affirmatively opt in to receive SMS messages. Consent is not a condition of using the Service.
  • Message Frequency: Message frequency varies based on your booking activity.
  • Message and Data Rates: Standard message and data rates may apply depending on your mobile carrier plan.
  • Opt-Out: You may opt out of SMS messages at any time by replying STOP to any message. After opting out, you will receive a final confirmation message. You may also remove your phone number from your account settings.
  • Help: For assistance, reply HELP to any message or contact us at support@letshang.me.
  • Supported Carriers: Major US carriers are supported. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

6. Booking and Scheduling

The Service facilitates scheduling between users and their friends. We do not guarantee that bookings will result in actual meetups. Users are solely responsible for honoring their commitments and managing their availability. We are not responsible for any disputes, misunderstandings, or inconveniences arising from the use of the scheduling features.

7. Google Calendar Integration

By connecting your Google Calendar, you authorize the Service to read your calendar events to determine your availability and to create calendar events for confirmed bookings. You may revoke this authorization at any time through your Google account settings or through the Service's settings page. We access only the minimum calendar data necessary to provide the scheduling functionality.

8. Privacy

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. Please review the Privacy Policy to understand how we collect, use, and protect your personal information.

9. Intellectual Property

The Service and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by Let's Hang and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of the Service without our prior written consent.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED ON AN “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” BASIS WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR SECURE, OR THAT ANY DEFECTS WILL BE CORRECTED.

11. Limitation of Liability

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, LET'S HANG SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, USE, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES, ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE, WHETHER BASED ON WARRANTY, CONTRACT, TORT (INCLUDING NEGLIGENCE), OR ANY OTHER LEGAL THEORY.

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Let's Hang and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any and all claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or in connection with your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any rights of another party.

13. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without cause, and with or without notice. Upon termination, your right to use the Service will immediately cease. All provisions of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination shall survive, including ownership provisions, warranty disclaimers, indemnity, and limitations of liability.

14. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated Terms on this page and updating the “Last updated” date. Your continued use of the Service after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.

15. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of New York, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any legal action or proceeding arising under these Terms shall be brought exclusively in the courts located in New York, New York.
